pro·cras·ti·nate v. pro·cras·ti·nat·ed, pro·cras·ti·nat·ing, pro·cras·ti·nates

1. To put off doing something, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness.

2. To postpone or delay needlessly.

“Procrastination is the grave in which opportunity is buried.”

     Productivity is focused effort.

I even tried to procrastinate this blog post but in my determinedness to quit procrastinating I paused long enough from cleaning which I also was procrastinating to write this post.
I will write more later this week if I haven’t fell back into to the habit of procrastination. I’ll keep trying. Practice makes perfect, right?

Refuse to just let your life fly by!

Do you ever catch yourself doing things out of "necessity" or "being normal"? Now look at someone you look up too and see if the things that they have done that stood out to you were done out of "necessity" or "being normal". Some of your best dreams come true moments happened when least expected and when you did something out of the ordinary. Sometimes we have to step out on a limb and reach for the stars and grab them and make them yours. They are already yours you just have to believe it. Here is a quote I really liked that may help you be brave and go for the "crazy ideas" in life. "We should act more, think less, and stop watching ourselves live.” -Chamfort- So lets get busy, stop procrastinating, and refuse to watch our lives fly by.

Busy Lately?

So..I have been slack on posting..all though I do sort of have a reason. I have been really busy..See I had said not to long ago to my husband that I didn't do enough and I wish I had something to do that made me feel like I was contributing....well you get what you wish for..Now I have a part time job another part time job and another part time job and I go to school full time..online though so that helps..I feel good about it though and I feel like that's where I need to be right now. Although career wise it is not where I want to be. I just have to make sure that I don't get so busy that I give up and stop working towards my dreams and my ultimate career. You know..no matter how busy we get we still have time to do what we want to do. You just have to decide how important it is and if it is really important to you then you will find the time. You can't get discouraged at how far off accomplishing it seems to be or by the fear of maybe you're just wasting your time. People who have accomplished their dreams started with one small little thing that didn't seem important and it was probably in the midst of things that seemed a whole lot more important. So let's not get discouraged and give up we have only started and some things do take time.

You are BEAUtiful!!

Beauty is something that everyone strives for especially women. I guess that would be societies fault. We all think we have to have certain attributes to be considered beautiful. Well, some people are born with the more typical "beauty attributes". I personally think that anyone can be beautiful (everyone is beautiful) and I know you all have heard this before but confidence IS beauty. One example is something Nina Garcia a judge on Project Runaway said. "When a beautiful woman walks into a room, I may glance up for a moment, but I soon return to my entrée or my conversation or the dessert menu. Let's be honest: beauty is not all that interesting (and certainly not more interesting than the dessert menu). But when a confident woman walks into a room, it is entrancing. I'll watch as she moves with poise and self-possession. She is not usually the one in the plain black dress. She is the one in the interesting shirt and the vintage skirt, and I immediately want to know where she got them. And she may not be the most stunningly gorgeous woman I've ever seen, but she has a way about her that can make her one of the most intriguing. Confidence is captivating, it is powerful, and it does not fade - and that is endlessly more interesting than beauty." I know when I read this it rang true to me so maybe it will ring true to you. And when you are not feeling beautiful you will feel confident and then you will feel the beauty YOU HAVE shining through. I feel the best when I have been creative with my clothes and I have been creative with my hair and makeup and I have done it to my liking. I feel like then I am showing everyone me not someone else and I know God made me beautiful in my own way like no one else. In my search for inspiration for this post I ran across Tammy Gibson's website http://amominredhighheels.com/ and she said it like this: "A woman with self-confidence can freeze time when she walks into a room with her radiant smile, her presence and her inner confidence. The trick to feeling beautiful is to find the freedom you can feel in a dark bedroom, Do a pirouette, strut your stuff, feel radiant and confident. Then take it outside. The first and most important step to developing style is to project this kind of confidence. The kind of confidence that tells others you respect yourself, love yourself, and dress up for yourself and nobody else. You are your own muse. Style comes from knowing who you are and who you want to be in the world; it does not come from wanting to be somebody else or wanting to be thinner, shorter, taller or prettier. All you need is the attitude: "I am beautiful". Your beauty deep inside will translate into a magnificent outer beauty. Confidence is the most important trait you will ever have. Increase your self-esteem and you increase your self-worth. If you don't have it, you can learn it. Fake it until you actually end up believing it. Grow your inner beauty, build up your self-confidence and you always will be beautiful. Nobody is going to do it for you - it all comes from within." I love this!! You do have to fake it till you make it. Believing is doing!! No one can tell you you are not beautiful unless you believe them if you don't believe them their words are just going to bounce off of your confidence and you beauty will shine like the sun. I am going to take this advice to heart just as much as I hope you will we are on this journey together.

Much love and beauty,

Well, I caught myself trying to put off doing a blog post. I kept telling myself I'll wait till I have something interesting to say and then I realize it's like saying we'll wait until we have enough money to have a baby. You will NEVER have ENOUGH. I've also said that I wanted to put some pictures and videos on here too. But I was just waiting until I had an appropriate picture or video. But, guess what I don't have an appropriate one yet so I am going to find a random picture or two that I like and put it on here. I'll find "appropriate" ones later. I guess my point of this post is....procrastination is BAD!!! Don't do it!! Try to get to the bottom of what causes you to procrastinate. More than likely the reason is bad too, like fear that if you don't have a good enough post no one will read it and no one will follow your blog. Well, you never know your random post that you think is about nothing may actually be exactly what someone else is thinking and it speaks to them. I am hoping that this post is like that because I REALLY WANT FOLLOWERS!! I promise I will come up with a point to my posts and they won't all be random.

Hey guys..so I was thinking about all my goals over the weekend and how I wanted to be strong enough to see them into completion and I came up with a tip. After working out I noticed I was really motivated and I wanted to continue to get "stuff" done. I think that when you motivate your body it in turns motivates your mind and when you motivate your mind it in turns motivates your body. And all motivation is..is strength put into desires. You just have to sit down listen to your heart's desires because they are there for a reason and then make up your mind you are going to follow those desires and get busy. It's just one step at a time and before you know it your dreams have became your reality. So after reading this..sit for just a minute and think about something YOU really want to do and take one tiny little step forward. Then you will feel motivated and you will put on your "to-do" list to take one more tiny step forward tomorrow and before you know it you will have accomplished a dream and it will feel GOOD!! Oh and one other thing..fear is not from GOD..so get rid of it!! It only stops you from doing things and its best friend is self-doubt.. ;)

Much love,
Megan Page
